Compliance Analyst - regulatory reporting (San Diego, CA)

Bright Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around San Diego. We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to take on regulatory reporting. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Train staff on requirements for policy renewals. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Track findings until they are fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Comfort saying no politely. • Careful reading and clear writing. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
