Compliance Analyst - regulatory reporting (Oakland, CA)

Harborlight River Insurance is an insurance company in Oakland with claims and service teams, and we need a Compliance Analyst to lead our regulatory reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Train staff on requirements for customer complaints. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Track findings until they are fixed. What we are looking for • Careful reading and clear writing. • Comfort saying no politely. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. Nice to have • Experience with underwriting files. • Certification in compliance or audit. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
