Compliance Analyst - regulatory reporting (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Cedar West Environmental Services and adding a Compliance Analyst whose main responsibility will be regulatory reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 110 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Train staff on requirements for recycling loads. What we are looking for • Careful reading and clear writing. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Comfort saying no politely. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • Certification in compliance or audit. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
