Compliance Analyst - regulatory reporting (Birmingham, AL)

Harborlight Bright Water Authority Group supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Birmingham and nearby communities. We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to take on regulatory reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 21 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Train staff on requirements for capital projects. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. What we are looking for • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Careful reading and clear writing. • Comfort saying no politely. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
