Compliance Analyst - regulatory reporting (Birmingham, AL)

Fernwood Thistle Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Birmingham area, and we need a Compliance Analyst to lead our regulatory reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 167 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Track findings until they are fixed. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Train staff on requirements for billing accounts. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. What we are looking for • Comfort saying no politely. • Careful reading and clear writing. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
