Compliance Analyst - policy monitoring (Virginia Beach, VA)

Fernwood Wren Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Virginia Beach working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to take on policy monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Train staff on requirements for ridership counts. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. What we are looking for • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Comfort saying no politely. • Careful reading and clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with accessibility audits. • Certification in compliance or audit. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
