Compliance Analyst - policy monitoring (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Hollow Environmental Services and adding a Compliance Analyst whose main responsibility will be policy monitoring. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Train staff on requirements for recycling loads. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Track findings until they are fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Comfort saying no politely. • Careful reading and clear writing. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
