Compliance Analyst - policy monitoring (Spokane, WA)

Fernwood Cobalt Insurance is an insurance company in Spokane with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to take on policy monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Train staff on requirements for catastrophe response. • Track findings until they are fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort saying no politely. • Careful reading and clear writing. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
