Compliance Analyst - policy monitoring (San Jose, CA)

Greenridge Beacon Water Authority is a public water utility serving the San Jose area, and we need a Compliance Analyst to lead our policy monitoring. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Train staff on requirements for billing accounts. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. What we are looking for • Comfort saying no politely. • Careful reading and clear writing. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Certification in compliance or audit. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
