Compliance Analyst - policy monitoring (San Diego, CA)

Fernwood Basin Foods Group produces packaged foods at its San Diego plant, and we need a Compliance Analyst to lead our policy monitoring. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Train staff on requirements for sanitation schedules. • Track findings until they are fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort saying no politely. • Careful reading and clear writing. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
