Compliance Analyst - policy monitoring (Sacramento, CA)

Fernwood Quill Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Sacramento. We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to take on policy monitoring. What you will do • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Train staff on requirements for permits. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. What we are looking for • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Comfort saying no politely. • Careful reading and clear writing. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with constituent requests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
