Compliance Analyst - policy monitoring (remote)

Harborlight Amber Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Oakland. We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to take on policy monitoring. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track findings until they are fixed. • Train staff on requirements for underwriting files. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. What we are looking for • Careful reading and clear writing. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Comfort saying no politely. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
