Compliance Analyst - policy monitoring (remote)

Harborlight Glen Civic Services supports public agencies in Chicago with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to take on policy monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Train staff on requirements for permits. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. What we are looking for • Careful reading and clear writing. • Comfort saying no politely. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. Nice to have • Experience with case files. • Certification in compliance or audit. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
