Compliance Analyst - policy monitoring (Portland, OR)

Rivermark Birch Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Portland with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Compliance Analyst to lead our policy monitoring. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Track findings until they are fixed. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Train staff on requirements for recycling loads. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. What we are looking for • Comfort saying no politely. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Careful reading and clear writing. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
