Compliance Analyst - policy monitoring (Oakland, CA)

Northwind West Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Oakland with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Compliance Analyst to lead our policy monitoring. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Train staff on requirements for fleet maintenance. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. What we are looking for • Careful reading and clear writing. • Comfort saying no politely. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
