Compliance Analyst - policy monitoring (Detroit, MI)

Lumen Union Civic Services Group supports public agencies in Detroit with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to take on policy monitoring. What you will do • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Train staff on requirements for constituent requests. What we are looking for • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Careful reading and clear writing. • Comfort saying no politely. Nice to have • Experience with public records. • Certification in compliance or audit. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
