Compliance Analyst - policy monitoring (Detroit, MI)

Harborlight Banking Services Group provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Detroit. We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to take on policy monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Train staff on requirements for account openings. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. What we are looking for • Comfort saying no politely. • Careful reading and clear writing. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with loan files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
