Compliance Analyst - policy monitoring (Charlotte, NC)

Lumen Union Civic Services supports public agencies in Charlotte with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need a Compliance Analyst to lead our policy monitoring. You would join a large organisation of about 630 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Track findings until they are fixed. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Train staff on requirements for budget submissions. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. What we are looking for • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Comfort saying no politely. • Careful reading and clear writing. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with public records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
