Compliance Analyst - policy monitoring (Charleston, SC)

Westbrook Umber Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Charleston. We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to take on policy monitoring. You would join a small organisation of about 109 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Train staff on requirements for constituent requests. What we are looking for • Careful reading and clear writing. • Comfort saying no politely. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with budget submissions. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
