Compliance Analyst - policy monitoring (Buffalo, NY)

Amberfield Umber Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Buffalo, and we need a Compliance Analyst to lead our policy monitoring. You would join a large organisation of about 727 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Train staff on requirements for outage response. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. What we are looking for • Comfort saying no politely. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Careful reading and clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • Certification in compliance or audit. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
