Compliance Analyst - policy monitoring (Birmingham, AL)

Redstone Umber Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Birmingham. We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to take on policy monitoring. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Train staff on requirements for ingredient orders. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Track findings until they are fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Careful reading and clear writing. • Comfort saying no politely. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
