Compliance Analyst - audit readiness (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Umber Inspection Services and adding a Compliance Analyst whose main responsibility will be audit readiness. You would join a large organisation of about 849 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Train staff on requirements for field inspections. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Track findings until they are fixed. What we are looking for • Careful reading and clear writing. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Comfort saying no politely. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with certifications. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
