Compliance Analyst - audit readiness (Virginia Beach, VA)

Bluepeak Basin Civic Services Group works with county and city offices around Virginia Beach, and we need a Compliance Analyst to lead our audit readiness. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Train staff on requirements for permits. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. What we are looking for • Careful reading and clear writing. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Comfort saying no politely. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with public records. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
