Compliance Analyst - audit readiness (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Vista Water Authority and adding a Compliance Analyst whose main responsibility will be audit readiness. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Train staff on requirements for capital projects. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. What we are looking for • Comfort saying no politely. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Careful reading and clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • Certification in compliance or audit. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
