Compliance Analyst - audit readiness (San Diego, CA)

Fernwood Bright Insurance is an insurance company in San Diego with claims and service teams, and we need a Compliance Analyst to lead our audit readiness. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Train staff on requirements for catastrophe response. • Track findings until they are fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Comfort saying no politely. • Careful reading and clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Certification in compliance or audit. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
