Compliance Analyst - audit readiness (Sacramento, CA)

Fernwood Quill Civic Services supports public agencies in Sacramento with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to take on audit readiness. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Track findings until they are fixed. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Train staff on requirements for budget submissions. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. What we are looking for • Comfort saying no politely. • Careful reading and clear writing. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • Certification in compliance or audit. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
