Compliance Analyst - audit readiness (remote)

Harborlight Juniper Civic Services Partners supports public agencies in Birmingham with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need a Compliance Analyst to lead our audit readiness. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Train staff on requirements for procurement. What we are looking for • Careful reading and clear writing. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Comfort saying no politely. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • Certification in compliance or audit. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
