Compliance Analyst - audit readiness (remote)

Nova Maple Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Sacramento area, and we need a Compliance Analyst to lead our audit readiness. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Train staff on requirements for water quality. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Track findings until they are fixed. What we are looking for • Careful reading and clear writing. • Comfort saying no politely. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
