Compliance Analyst - audit readiness (Portland, OR)

Stonegate West Environmental Services is looking for a Compliance Analyst. The job centres on audit readiness for landfill records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Train staff on requirements for landfill records. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. What we are looking for • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Comfort saying no politely. • Careful reading and clear writing. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
