Compliance Analyst - audit readiness (Oakland, CA)

Westbrook Corner Water Authority is looking for a Compliance Analyst. The job centres on audit readiness for pipe repairs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Train staff on requirements for pipe repairs. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. What we are looking for • Comfort saying no politely. • Careful reading and clear writing. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • Certification in compliance or audit. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
