Compliance Analyst - audit readiness (Oakland, CA)

Northwind Sparrow Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Oakland, and we need a Compliance Analyst to lead our audit readiness. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Train staff on requirements for fleet maintenance. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. What we are looking for • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Comfort saying no politely. • Careful reading and clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Certification in compliance or audit. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
