Compliance Analyst - audit readiness (Hartford, CT)

Nova Amber Insurance Group is an insurance company in Hartford with claims and service teams, and we need a Compliance Analyst to lead our audit readiness. You would join a small organisation of about 175 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Train staff on requirements for policy renewals. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. What we are looking for • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Comfort saying no politely. • Careful reading and clear writing. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
