Compliance Analyst - audit readiness (Detroit, MI)

Fernwood Rowan Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Detroit. We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to take on audit readiness. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Train staff on requirements for weigh tickets. What we are looking for • Careful reading and clear writing. • Comfort saying no politely. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Certification in compliance or audit. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
