Compliance Analyst - audit readiness (Des Moines, IA)

Fernwood West Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Des Moines. We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to take on audit readiness. You would join a small organisation of about 67 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Train staff on requirements for service complaints. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. What we are looking for • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Comfort saying no politely. • Careful reading and clear writing. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
