Compliance Analyst - audit readiness (Chicago, IL)

Cedar Forge Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Chicago with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Compliance Analyst to lead our audit readiness. You would join a small organisation of about 97 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Train staff on requirements for collection routes. • Track findings until they are fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort saying no politely. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Careful reading and clear writing. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
