Compliance Analyst - audit readiness (Charlotte, NC)

Foxglove Juniper Civic Services supports public agencies in Charlotte with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to take on audit readiness. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Train staff on requirements for constituent requests. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. What we are looking for • Careful reading and clear writing. • Comfort saying no politely. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with public records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
