Compliance Analyst - audit readiness (Buffalo, NY)

Fernwood Quarry Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Buffalo focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need a Compliance Analyst to lead our audit readiness. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Train staff on requirements for service installations. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. What we are looking for • Comfort saying no politely. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Careful reading and clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • Certification in compliance or audit. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
