Case Manager - intake and assessment (Providence, RI)

Redstone Ember Community Partners is looking for a Case Manager. The job centres on intake and assessment for volunteer shifts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. • Connect clients with partner agencies. • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. • Help with applications and appointments for volunteer shifts. • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. What we are looking for • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. • Strong documentation habits. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
