Case Manager - intake and assessment (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Haven Early Learning and adding a Case Manager whose main responsibility will be intake and assessment. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. • Help with applications and appointments for enrolment. • Connect clients with partner agencies. • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. What we are looking for • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. • Strong documentation habits. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
