Case Manager - intake and assessment (Oakland, CA)

Silverline Ember Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Oakland. We are hiring a Case Manager to take on intake and assessment. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. • Help with applications and appointments for rent assistance. • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. • Connect clients with partner agencies. What we are looking for • Strong documentation habits. • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. Nice to have • Experience with rent assistance. • Bilingual English and Spanish. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
