Case Manager - intake and assessment (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Haven Housing and adding a Case Manager whose main responsibility will be intake and assessment. We value patience and follow-through. What you will do • Help with applications and appointments for rent assistance. • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. • Connect clients with partner agencies. • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. What we are looking for • Strong documentation habits. • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with rent assistance. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
