Case Manager - intake and assessment (Houston, TX)

Fernwood Timber Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Houston area. We are hiring a Case Manager to take on intake and assessment. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Help with applications and appointments for enrolment. • Connect clients with partner agencies. • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. What we are looking for • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. • Strong documentation habits. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
