Case Manager - intake and assessment (Detroit, MI)

Westbrook Ember Community Partners runs community programmes across Detroit. We are hiring a Case Manager to take on intake and assessment. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. • Help with applications and appointments for client intake. • Connect clients with partner agencies. What we are looking for • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. • Strong documentation habits. Nice to have • Experience with client intake. • Bilingual English and Spanish. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
