Case Manager - intake and assessment (Detroit, MI)

Foxglove Junction Community Partners is a nonprofit in Detroit supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a Case Manager to lead our intake and assessment. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Help with applications and appointments for food distribution. • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. • Connect clients with partner agencies. • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. What we are looking for • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. • Strong documentation habits. • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. Nice to have • Experience with food distribution. • Bilingual English and Spanish. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
