Case Manager - intake and assessment (Columbus, OH)

Fernwood Pine Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Columbus. We are hiring a Case Manager to take on intake and assessment. You would join a small organisation of about 123 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. • Help with applications and appointments for rent assistance. • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. • Connect clients with partner agencies. What we are looking for • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. • Strong documentation habits. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with rent assistance. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
