Case Manager - intake and assessment (Buffalo, NY)

Nova Lantern Housing manages affordable housing communities across Buffalo. We are hiring a Case Manager to take on intake and assessment. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Connect clients with partner agencies. • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. • Help with applications and appointments for rent assistance. • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. What we are looking for • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. • Strong documentation habits. Nice to have • Experience with rent assistance. • Bilingual English and Spanish. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
