Case Manager - intake and assessment (Atlanta, GA)

Lumen Vale Community Partners is a nonprofit in Atlanta supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Case Manager to take on intake and assessment. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. • Connect clients with partner agencies. • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. • Help with applications and appointments for food distribution. What we are looking for • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. • Strong documentation habits. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with food distribution. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
