Case Manager - benefits navigation (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Sable Housing and adding a Case Manager whose main responsibility will be benefits navigation. You would join a small organisation of about 177 people based in Reno. What you will do • Help with applications and appointments for maintenance stores. • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. • Connect clients with partner agencies. • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. What we are looking for • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. • Strong documentation habits. • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with maintenance stores. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
