Case Manager - benefits navigation (remote)

Harborlight River Community Partners Group is a nonprofit in Chicago supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Case Manager to take on benefits navigation. You would join a small organisation of about 77 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. • Connect clients with partner agencies. • Help with applications and appointments for volunteer shifts. • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. What we are looking for • Strong documentation habits. • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
