Case Manager - benefits navigation (Portland, OR)

Northwind Ember Early Learning runs childcare centres in Portland caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a Case Manager to take on benefits navigation. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Connect clients with partner agencies. • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. • Help with applications and appointments for classroom supplies. • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. What we are looking for • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. • Strong documentation habits. • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. Nice to have • Bilingual English and Spanish. • Experience with classroom supplies. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
